As one of the best-regarded care homes in the Brighton area, our home is well-positioned to offer dedicated residential and highly qualified nursing care, for up to 42 residents. The thought of going into care can be daunting for many, but, at The Pines, we are here to support you during the next chapter of life. Our care plans are designed to foster independence for our more-able residents and for those with greater needs, our specialist on-site nurses offer dedicated medical attention to ensure the best quality of life possible in a comfortable and calming environment.

We understand everyone is different, so getting to know each resident is key to offering the best possible care, as well as a rich and varied life as part of our daily activities and well-being programme. Residents are encouraged to take part in daily activities, providing essential mental and social stimulation, whether this is in a group setting or part of a more dedicated one-to-one attention.

The Pines Care & Nursing Home is set in the seaside town of Hove. Our home features our Coffee Club Café, Elegance Hair salon and spacious lounge for communal use and a courtyard garden for residents to enjoy. Our home is well equipped to provide the very best residential and nursing care in Brighton.

En-suite Bedrooms

Our bedrooms are bright, comfortable and homely, complete with their own en-suite shower room. Resident’s dignity and privacy are always respected, with carers understanding preferences for entering people’s rooms. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with personal belongings, providing a talking point and opportunity for us to get to know them better.

Coffee Club

Explore our newly refurbished Coffee Club space, open from August 2024. This space is designed with comfort and community in mind. Featuring a full-service coffee bar and ample seating in a brightly lit room, this welcoming hub is the perfect place for residents to socialise, relax, and enjoy a variety of coffee selections.

Lounge

Our lounge is comfortable and tastefully furnished, making you feel instantly at home and relaxed. Residents can settle into their favourite chair or join their friends for a chat over a cup of tea and biscuit, just as you would at home.

Elegance Hair Salon

For many of our residents, a set and blow-dry is part of their weekly calendar, and our hair salon allows them to continue this weekly treat. Our Activity team are happy to paint nails and even offer hand pampering to top off our weekly beauty treat.

We’re passionate about food and believe that every mealtime should deliver the ‘wow-factor’. Our highly experienced Chef, Attila, produces an exciting range of tasty and nutritious dishes every day, using only the freshest ingredients. We believe that mealtimes should be both enjoyable and dignified, and so we encourage residents to join their friends in the dining room - but there is always the option for people to dine in the comfort of their own room, should they prefer to. Each meal is plated by the Chef and beautifully presented, just as you would expect at home

Home Manager

Tiago is a committed and dedicated Home Manager, who is passionate about enriching the lives of our residents by delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life. He is passionate about promoting individual choice for residents, allowing them to feel empowered. Tiago was awarded a staff award for ‘Local home, national family’ in recognition of his hard work and dedication to his role.

The Pines Care & Nursing Home Celebrates Refurbishment with Deputy Mayor and Local Community

The Pines Care and Nursing Home in Hove, Brighton, recently hosted a Grand Opening event to celebrate its newly completed extension and refurbishment. The event was well-attended by members of the local community and featured a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. Cllr Amanda Grimshaw, the Deputy Mayor of Brighton and Hove, officially opened the extended and refurbished facilities, joined by residents Brian and Allan, as well as the Home Manager, Tiago Conceicao.
