Bedrooms are ensuite with assisted bathrooms to enable care to be provided in comfort and with dignity.
The 37 bedrooms at Marling Court are bright, comfortable and homely, complete with en-suite shower rooms. Resident’s dignity and privacy are respected at all times, with carers aware of preferences for entering people’s rooms. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with personal belongings, providing a talking point and opportunity for us to get to know them better.
Each wing at Marling Court has its own lounge, which is comfortable and tastefully furnished, making you feel instantly at home and relaxed. Residents can settle into their favourite chair or join their friends on the sofa for a chat over a cup of tea and biscuit, just as they would at home.
We encourage our residents to continue to enjoy their hobbies and pastimes, and for those who have appreciated spending time in the garden, we continue to provide that opportunity here at Marling Court Care Home. Our residents enjoy getting involved with the annual Country Court in Bloom competition and take much pride from their flowering displays and vegetable produce.
Gloria has been part of our family here at Marling Court Care Home for nineteen years. She has worked in a variety of roles from Care Assistant to Deputy Manager and now Home Manager. Gloria loves to get to know her residents and is passionate about delivering the highest standards of person-centred care. She operates an open door policy and welcomes visitors to the home at any time.
Beverley has worked at Marling Court since 2015 and in administration for over 15 years. Beverley lives locally and loves working with people. She keeps the administration running smoothly for the home and brightens everyone's day as she's always laughing!
