Our Facilities

Bedrooms

Our 98 bedrooms at our nursing home in Camberwell are bright, light and comfortable. People can personalise their rooms with belongings that are meaningful to them. All rooms come with private en-suite, walk-in shower rooms. We have a choice of premium or standard rooms.

Dining Room

Our dining rooms are clean, bright and inviting, residents are encouraged to take their meals in the shared dining areas in the company of their friends. Tables are set ready for each meal, just as you would expect in a restaurant and front of house staff are on hand to serve and assist with meals as required.

Lounges

Our lounge areas are tastefully decorated with attention to detail in the design and layout that makes you feel instantly at home. Residents can settle in their favourite chair or join their friends on the sofa for a chat over a cup of tea. Families and visitors are welcome to join residents in the lounge, residents can take part in group activities or just enjoy quietly reading or watching TV.

Wellness Suite

Residents love a trip to the salon to see the hairdresser or barber, maintaining one of life's routines is so good for well-being. For many residents, a set and blow-dry is part of their weekly calendar. Our Wellness suite features a hair salon, beauty and foot treatment area and relaxation room.

Cricketer's Tavern

Our in-home pubs are one of our most popular facilities. Whether it's a half-pint of bitter, orange juice or a glass of wine, an hour in the pub is a real social occasion. Our Cricketer's Tavern pub is a place for our residents to enjoy life, to be able to relax and share good times with friends, as they always have done.

Hospitality Suite

For more formal or special occasions, families can take advantage of our hospitality suite with stunning views of the London skyline. The dining room will be your space for the day to relax and enjoy time with family and friends, as you would at home. Our chef and hospitality team will be at your disposal, providing a bespoke menu to make birthdays and anniversaries truly special and memorable occasions.

Vista Bar

Our top floor bistro café is a great setting for residents and their families to enjoy a drink and a cake with spectacular views of the London skyline. They can also venture out to our rooftop garden space to enjoy the sunshine.

Spa bathroom

Our spa bathroom is the height of sophisticated relaxation. The spacious assisted bathroom features a built-in TV, surround sound music system and hoist bath. The ceiling sparkles gently as you relax and unwind in comfort.

Activities Room

The activities room is a dedicated space for people to enjoy their hobbies and pastimes. From crafts and games to quizzes and reminiscing there will always be plenty going on. Our interactive OMi table is a wonderful way to engage with games and activities, encouraging hand-to-eye coordination together with an opportunity to socialise and have fun.

Quiet Lounges

On each floor, there are quiet lounges and cosy seating areas for residents to relax, read and spend quiet time. Each area has been thoughtfully designed to be homely and inviting with tasteful decor and design.

Fine Dining Experience

We know that quality nutritious food can make a real difference to our residents’ health and well being. Country Court Care Chefs work closely with the care team to understand the needs and preferences of each resident.

We like to involve our residents in developing the weekly menus and regularly use vegetables and herbs grown in our garden. Fresh cakes are available daily in our coffee shop for residents to enjoy with their visitors. We ensure that we ask for feedback by speaking to residents regularly about their meals.

Timothy is one of our very talented chefs at Camberwell Lodge, he is passionate about creating delicious and visually stunning meals. Timothy recently won an award at the Southwark Care Awards 2024 recgonsing him for his dedication.

Home Manager

Lauren is our Home Manager here at Camberwell Lodge Care & Nursing Home. Lauren is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life. She loves to get to know our residents and their families and operates an open door policy.

Jessica O’Connell

Customer Relations Manager

Jessica is the Customer Relations Manager for Camberwell Lodge ensuring that anyone looking for care for their loved ones receives a warm welcome, she is there every step of the way to help you understand your care options. Jessica is responsible for organising events and talks to encourage the local community to visit our care home in London.
