Set in the Fir Vale area of Sheffield, Abbey Grange Care & Nursing Home offers a peaceful haven in the heart of Sheffied. Our care home has several light, airy and spacious lounges for communal use and a large mature garden for residents to enjoy. The home is well equipped to provide the very best personal and nursing care.

Bedroom

The 72 bedrooms at Abbey Grange are bright, comfortable and homely, complete with en-suite shower rooms. Resident’s dignity and privacy are respected at all times, with carers respecting preferences for entering people’s rooms. We encourage people to personalise their rooms, with their belongings providing a talking point and opportunity for us to get to know them better.

Dining Room

Our light and airy dining rooms are clean and bright, with tables set ready to give residents a dignified and comfortable dining experience. Here they can enjoy our delicious home-cooked food, socialising with friends, while we do all the washing and tidying up.

Lounge

Our comfortable lounges make you feel instantly at home & relaxed. Residents can settle in their favourite chair or join friends on the sofa for a chat over a cup of tea & biscuit - just as you would at home. Our staff are on hand to offer support when required, they know each resident individually & provide care with the kindness & respect you’d expect from your own family.

Hair & Beauty

For many of our residents, their weekly trip to our very own salon is a treat to look forward to. Our hairdresser caters for all ladies and gents’ styles and many enjoy hand pampering and nail treatments, too.

Garden

We encourage our residents to continue to enjoy their hobbies and pastimes, and for those who have appreciated spending time in the garden, we continue to offer that opportunity here at Abbey Grange. Whether it is simply pottering around or taking part in the annual Country Court in Bloom competition, and our residents take a lot of pride in their flowering displays and vegetable produce.

Our Passion for Food

Mealtimes are a social occasion at Abbey Grange. We have our own kitchen where our cooks produce a wonderful range of menus, catering to our residents’ individual tastes and care plans. Our head chef regularly consults residents when planning menus and can often be found chatting with residents in the dining room getting feedback first-hand. We plate all our meals, as you would at home, for an enjoyable and dignified dining experience. We’re passionate that eating at Abbey Grange Care Home is a real culinary experience – we even have our own Instagram account showcasing our delicious daily menus.
