On Friday, 19th April, Shenstone Court Care Home in Halesowen was officially launched by MP for Halesowen and Rowley Regis, James Morris. Mr Morris kindly cut the ribbon together with Country Court Co-CEOs Al-Karim and Alykhan Kachra. Shenstone Court Care Home is the latest care home to be opened by the award-winning Peterborough-based care home operator. The newly built luxury care home will provide residential and dementia care for up to sixty-three people and over sixty new jobs.
Commenting at the event, James Morris said “I am delighted to be here at Shenstone Court Care Home, it’s wonderful to see representatives from Halesowen College and other community groups. I hope that strong links will be built up in the area between these organisations.” Mr Morris was pleased to see the history of the local area reflected in the choice of name for the care home, with 18th-century poet and designer of Leasowes Park, William Shenstone being a key local historical figure.
Guests at the launch event were impressed with the state-of-the-art facilities and wowed by the delicious refreshments. After a tour of the care home, visitors enjoyed meeting Home Manager Jo Cox and networking with local healthcare professionals and community representatives.
“The warm & friendly response from our local community was wonderful this weekend. We were delighted that we could finally showcase our beautiful facilities to our local community who have been eagerly awaiting this Grand Opening. We look forward to working closely with all our new connections to enrich the lives of our residents.”
