Ruby Lodge Care Home is thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with Community Works, a collaboration designed to bring exceptional care and engaging activities to older adults in Thirsk, including those living with dementia.
“We are delighted to be entering into this partnership with Ruby Lodge. The care they provide for older people in Thirsk is fantastic, and this collaboration signals Community Works’ determination to expand its services for older people over the next few years. These are exciting times.”
Community Works specialises in providing personalised services for individuals living with dementia, offering a wide range of meaningful and enjoyable activities such as music and dancing, arts and crafts, visits from local schools, animal therapy, and social events. These activities not only bring joy to participants but also offer valuable respite for their carers, who play a vital role in their loved ones’ lives.
‘Booking a session with Community Works is simple. Each potential client receives a home visit for an assessment to determine their needs and preferences. Following this, a trial session is encouraged to ensure the best fit. Full-day sessions cost £49 plus £7.15 for lunch, while half-day sessions are £27.50. For bookings or further information, contact: Gill Burn: gill@communityworks.uk or 07917 612 566 & Alice Ridley: alice@communityworks.uk or 07947 259 335’ Commented Rob Rolls, Chief Executive Officer of Community Works.
“We are thrilled to welcome Community Works into Ruby Lodge. Their attention to detail and spectacular delivery of person-centred care is second to none, and we’ve witnessed this first-hand during their time with us. Their activities are tailored to each attendee’s needs and preferences, and it’s been a joy to see our residents participate alongside visitors, meeting new faces and building connections.’
