Residents, relatives, and staff gathered at Greenwood Court Care & Nursing Home in Great Baddow to mark the retirement of Receptionist Lynda Morgan. The afternoon featured music, dancing, and a toast to Lynda’s next chapter, with a buffet enjoyed by all.
During the retirement party residents, relatives, and staff enjoyed entertainment by guest singer, Robert, who performed classic songs, from Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline’ to Frank Sinatra’s ‘Fly Me to the Moon’.
Home Manager Rebecca Harris spoke about Lynda’s dedication and presented her with a flower bouquet and a scrapbook created by residents. Colleagues and family members also shared some lovely comments:

‘I’m relocating to Spain after selling my house in England and looking forward to new adventures and a relaxing retirement. Having worked at Greenwood Court since its opening in 2018, starting as a carer, it’s been a pleasure to see it grow. It has been my life and it’s been so worthwhile. I wouldn’t change any of it. Thank you for everything.” Commented Receptionist Lynda Morgans.
