Barry’s unforgettable day at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium included a guided tour, personal interactions with club legend Gary Mabbutt, and exclusive memorabilia to commemorate the experience.
‘Barry was warmly welcomed by Gary Mabbutt, who made a special announcement in the touring arena to highlight Barry’s “Make a Wish” visit. Gary took the time to learn about Barry, sharing his own life stories in return, which made the day even more personal and meaningful. Unlike other attendees, Barry received a signed photo from Gary, making the moment truly one-of-a-kind.’ Commented Wellbeing Coordinator Maria Grazia.
‘During the 2.5-hour guided stadium tour, Barry enjoyed behind-the-scenes access to the changing rooms, viewed the club’s iconic trophies, and walked through the stunning football grounds. As a memento of his incredible day, Barry was gifted a Tottenham Hotspur scarf and a ticket as keepsakes of this unforgettable experience.’ Commented Home Manager Jade Smith.
Resident Barry described the day as “amazing,” sharing how much he enjoyed learning about the club’s history, exploring the stadium, and engaging with the friendly staff. “It was a dream come true,” Barry said.
