Pemberley Manor Care and Nursing Home, located near Orpington, Kent, recently celebrated its relaunch under new ownership with a vibrant community Summer Fair. The event brought together residents, their families, staff, and local community members, marking a significant milestone for the care home, which was acquired by Country Court earlier this year.
During an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, the Deputy Mayor of Bromley, Jonathan Andrews, proudly declared Pemberley Manor relaunched under the management of Country Court, alongside Home Manager John Ogbe and Customer Relations Manager Lauren Digby.
Lauren Digby expressed her gratitude, stating, "It was great to see so much support for our care home relaunch. This is an important new chapter for us, and I appreciate everyone who came out. We look forward to continuing to be a part of our local community."
The summer fair was filled with entertainment, including a BBQ, local stalls, and live music featuring nostalgic hits like "I'm a Believer" and classics from Buddy Holly and The Kinks. Resident Jean was especially pleased with the crochet stall, and her daughter Jane remarked on what a "lovely event" it was.
