Staff and residents at Lyncroft Care Home in Wisbech are delighted to be rated 10 out of 10 by family and friends who have reviewed the residential & dementia home on the review website carehome.co.uk. The website lists all care settings in the UK and allows people who have relatives living in care homes to review and rate them.
“We are delighted with our rating.” said Home Manager, Brenda Durrington “Our staff team go above and beyond every day to ensure we provide the highest standards of care and support for our residents. After such a difficult 18 months it’s wonderful for the efforts of our staff to be recognised”.
One relative commented, “I can’t praise Lyncroft’s dedicated staff highly enough for providing a wonderful caring place for my mum to live. What an amazing team of people they have at Lyncroft. My mum is always saying how nice all the staff are, how clean everywhere is and she is always so appreciative of the wonderful work done by the laundry team. The Customer Relations Manager and Reception team have been brilliant. They have always been so helpful, and nothing is too much bother - What angels they are. It was such a lovely place to visit when we see my mum - the staff [are] so kind.”
Another person said, “The management and staff at Lyncroft are wonderful! The home is extremely well managed and supported by carers who always give 110%. They are all extraordinary people. My father-in-law's accommodation is 5 star in the new part of a well-built extension and refurbishment and works were carried out to the highest spec and with much thought for the residents. The 'pub' and 'coffee bar' are a welcome addition. The food is amazing with plenty of choice, and nothing is too much trouble for the chefs. Above all, it feels like home. Thanks to you all.”
