Lyncroft Care Home in Wisbech recently celebrated a fantastic fundraising achievement, raising an impressive £2,503.70 at their much-anticipated annual Bingo Night. Held at Emneth Village Hall, the event brought together over 100 people, including residents' families, staff, members of the local community, and even former residents, all eager to support a great cause.

The lively evening was filled with laughter, prizes, and plenty of community spirit. Guests enjoyed a series of entertaining bingo games, with prizes donated by local businesses and supporters, making the event a real highlight on the Lyncroft calendar.
The money raised will go towards Lyncroft Care Home’s Residents' Comfort Fund, which helps provide residents with meaningful activities, special outings, and additional treats to enhance their daily lives. These funds ensure that residents can enjoy new experiences both within the home and in the local community, helping to create lasting memories with their friends and loved ones.
Sarah Perkins, Wellbeing Coordinator at Lyncroft Care Home, expressed her gratitude: “The evening had a wonderful atmosphere, and we are absolutely blown away by the amount we raised. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along, donated prizes, or supported us in any way. We never expected to raise so much, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible generosity of our community.”
