“It was such a pleasure to be part of the Wellbeing Day at Ferrars Hall Care Home. I’ve been working closely with the team here and regularly run Dementia Day Centre sessions each week, on Wednesdays and now starting on Fridays from 10 am to 3 pm. These sessions are dedicated to enhancing the lives of those living with dementia, focusing on social interaction and personalised care. We also offer families an afternoon of respite, knowing their loved ones are receiving the support they need.”
Katie Peters, Senior Customer Relations Manager at Ferrars Hall commented.
“Our Wellbeing Day was a fantastic event, shining a light on the wide range of support available to our local community. I’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the local groups who participated and showcased the incredible work they do. By bringing together representatives from key health and care organisations, we created a unique opportunity for the wider community to discover and connect with essential resources that might otherwise go unnoticed.”
