Eccleshare Court Care & Nursing Home in Lincoln will be hosting a community garden party to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. The garden party will be on Thursday 2nd June from 2pm and will be held in the newly refurbished garden of the nursing and care home in Hartsholme.
“We are delighted to welcome local people and families to our home to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee. This will be a wonderful opportunity for our residents to host an event. We've had so many months of being unable to invite people into our home.” Lisa Dent Home Manager explains “We have been busy making decorations and preparing our garden for the event. Our residents are very excited to be involved in celebrating this auspicious occasion”.
The garden party will feature entertainment from singer ‘Elvis Presley’ with refreshments and food provided by the onsite Chef Manager and team. There will be stalls selling crafts and gifts from local sellers. The Wellbeing Team at the care home will be providing royalty-themed activities in the build-up to event including reminiscing about historical royal occasions and themed arts and crafts.
