Devika Care Company is thrilled to launch a new Dementia Day Centre at Ferrars Hall Care Home in Huntingdon. The first session will be on Wednesday 27th of September at 10am until 3pm. It will then be held weekly on every Wednesday thereafter.
The Day Centre caters for people living with mid to late stages of dementia offering respite for families and loved ones who are caring for someone at home. The sessions offer a range of meaningful activities and opportunities for friendship and companionship. Devika Day Centre is led by Caroline Ignatius who named the company after her mum, Devika, who has been living with dementia for 13 years. Caroline is passionate about dementia care and is devoted to providing support for others who may also be caring for a loved one at home, as this is something she has experienced herself.

The sessions will be hosted on the 1st floor of Ferrars Hall Care Home which features a cinema room and private dining a light lunch and refreshments will be provided. Devika Care includes one carer for every 3 people, and welcomes carers to stay for the duration of the session if that is their preference.
