Country Court has announced the completion of the acquisition of Baycroft Care Homes from One Housing, part of the Riverside Group Limited. Country Court welcomes staff, residents and families from Baycroft Care and Nursing Homes in Orpington in Kent, Great Baddow in Essex, and Kempston, Flitwick and Fairfield in Bedfordshire. As part of the acquisition Carpenders Park Care Home, a 76-bed care home in Watford, has been commissioned and opened to new residents in March 2024.
With the acquisition of the Baycroft care homes, the group now operates 44 nursing and care homes, cares for over 2500 people across the UK, employs over 3000 staff and is recognised as one of the UK’s Top 20 care home providers. The group plans to open a further two homes in 2024, Shenstone Court Care Home in Halesowen and Ruby Lodge Care Home in Thirsk.
