Celebrating Excellence: Deputy Manager of the Year at Country Court Staff Awards 2025

Country Court is proud to announce the winners of the Country Court Staff Awards 2025, sponsored by Evans Vanodine and Alliance Local. These awards recognise the outstanding dedication, passion, and hard work of our incredible team members across our care homes and central services. With 12 categories, the awards celebrate those who go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and support to residents, families, and colleagues.

Exceptional Achievement:

Oakview Lodge Care & Nursing Home in Welwyn Garden City is thrilled to celebrate the exceptional achievement of Deputy Manager, Rosa-Maria Gaiteri, who has been named the winner of the prestigious Deputy Manager of the Year award, sponsored by Fane Clinic. This award highlights the qualities of an individual who provides exceptional support to the Home Manager across all areas of management. It also recognises a leader who steps up with confidence in the Home Manager’s absence, drives continuous improvement in care quality and services, and serves as a role model and mentor, encouraging staff growth and development.

Rosa-Maria Gaiteri received glowing nominations, including one from Home Manager Clare Twiss, who shared: “Rosa has been with us less than a year, but it feels like she’s been here forever. She has built strong relationships with both the residents and staff. She is a natural leader, quickly mastering the policies and expectations of a Deputy Manager at CCC. Rosa has played a key role in improving dementia care, addressing concerns around staff leadership, and working closely with both carers and seniors to raise standards. There are far fewer ‘niggles’ on the dementia floor now, thanks to her efforts. She is an excellent listener, always working alongside the staff to meet their needs, which ultimately benefits the residents. Rosa is kind, and courteous, and makes everyone feel valued. She’s an integral part of the home’s success, always going above and beyond to support residents, staff, and the management team.”

Speaking at the event, Alykhan Kachra, Co-CEO, said:

We would like to thank all the nominees, including those who didn’t make it to the judging day. To be nominated from over 3,300 staff is a remarkable achievement in itself—you should all feel very proud to be recognized.

Al-Karim Kachra, Co-CEO, added:

On behalf of the Kachra family, I would like to personally thank all of you here today for the fantastic hard work that you do in our care homes. We would also like to thank our wonderful sponsors for joining us today. Without your support, the high standards of care we provide would not be possible.

A huge congratulations to all our winners and nominees—your hard work and commitment make a difference every day!
